We understand that your trust in us is QBIX’s (meaning QBIX and the related brand names such as Artiblanche) most important asset (hereinafter referred to as "QBIX", "we" or "us"). As such, your privacy is essential for us.
QBIX wishes to emphasize that it always attempts to act in accordance with (i) The General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (‘GDPR’), (ii) the Belgian Privacy Law of 30 July 2018 concerning the protection of individuals with regards to the processing of personal data.

QBIX collects the following types of personal data:
ü “Contact Information", which is information that identifies an individual or can be used to contact or distinguish a person.

Processing takes place on the following legal grounds, as the case may be:
ü You have given consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes
ü Processing is necessary for the performance of the agreement with QBIX or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into an agreement
ü Processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which QBIX is subject
ü Processing is necessary in order to protect your vital interests or of another natural person

QBIX shall not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless it is necessary in the context of performing the agreement and optimisation thereof (including but not limited to payment processing, database management and the delivery of services to you or to QBIX (i.e. in light of subcontracting)). In this respect, your personal data may be disclosed to QBIX’s external partners.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, it is, however, possible that QBIX discloses your personal data:
ü To the competent authorities (i) if QBIX is obliged to do so under the law or under legal or future legal proceedings and (ii) to safeguard and defend our rights
ü If QBIX, or the majority of its assets, are taken over by a third party, in which case your personal data – which QBIX has collected – shall be one of the transferred assets
In all other cases, QBIX will not sell, hire out or pass on your personal data to third parties, except when it (i) has obtained your permission to this end and (ii) has completed a data processing agreement with the third party in question, which contains the necessary guarantees regarding confidentiality and privacy compliance of your personal data.

The security and safety of your personal data is QBIX's top priority. QBIX implements technical, administrative and physical security measures designed to protect your personal data from (i) unauthorized access or disclosure and (ii) loss, abuse or alteration.
Notwithstanding QBIX’ security policy, the checks it carries out and the actions it proposes in this context, an infallible level of security cannot be guaranteed. Since no method of transmission or forwarding over the internet, or any method of electronic storage is 100% secure, QBIX is, in this context, not in a position to guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a breach of data security related to your personal data, QBIX will provide the national Data Protection Authority (‘DPA’) with written notice within 72 hours of the breach, and will provide you with information related to the breach if your rights and freedom are endangered, or if the national Data Protection Authority recommends us to do so.
